Benvenuti nella pagina del gruppo di ricerca SAfeR – Sicurezza Affidabilità e Rischi, afferente al DISAT – Dipartimento di Scienza Applicata e Tecnologia del Politecnico di Torino, nell’ambito del raggruppamento MuSyChEn – Multiphase Systems and Chemical Engineering. A partire dall’analisi di processi industriali, che abbiano portato o meno a incidenti e infortuni, la missione del gruppo è quella di sviluppare metodologie e strumenti per portare a valutazioni attendibili dello stato di sicurezza di una linea produttiva o di un ambiente di lavoro con un approccio multirischio. Il fine è il miglioramento della progettazione di impianti e sistemi di controllo, della gestione operativa di processi e impianti e della resilienza del territorio su cui insistono, tenendo in conto i rischi emergenti, ma anche le opportunità offerte dallo sviluppo tecnologico.
Welcome to the webpage of the SAfeR research group – Safety, Reliability and Risks, part of the DISAT – Department of Applied Science and Technology of Politecnico di Torino, within the MuSyChEn – Multiphase Systems and Chemical Engineering research group. Starting from the analysis of industrial processes, whether or not they have resulted in accidents or occupational injuries, the mission of the group is to develop methodologies and tools aimed at achieving reliable assessments of the safety conditions of production lines or working environments through a multi-risk approach. The final goal is to improve the design of plants and control systems, the operational management of processes and facilities, and the resilience of the territories in which they are located, taking into account emerging risks as well as the benefits of technological development.
